Services

We have a small Trust office in Denbigh Town Centre that is used as a parent & resource centre.  From here, parents, carers and those with autism are able to get advice, information and support on autism and ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) related issues.

Holiday Club

C-Saw (North Wales) Ltd runs a holiday club for children with an autistic spectrum disorder during school holidays. The club is supported through a grant from the Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids Clubs Objective 1 project which is part financed by the European Union through the Welsh Assembly Governement. The club is open to children who have an autistic spectrum disorder between the ages of 8 to 16 years. The Club is held at Gerddi Glasfryn, a building on the Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn Site and runs all day between 8.30am and 5.30pm. The cost for a full day of care is £22.50 and for half day £12.50. For further information on the Holiday Club, check out the News section on this website or contact us in the office.

Young Persons Services

We provide a young persons service to help with the transition problems between childhood and becoming an adult.  This service includes providing advice & information on colleges, work experience & employment opportunities. It also provide a social club for young adults. We also provide Transition packs to help you through the transition process.

Parents Support Group

We provide an opportunity for parents of autistic children to meet once month for a coffee & a chat at our coffee mornings.   We also hold regular parent training sessions where we invite guest speakers to come and talk to the parents about relevant issues  e.g. Benefits, Wills etc.

Counselling

We run a small counselling service for parents and carers of those with autism. It often helps to talk to soemone about your fears, worrys and concerns about the future and our counselling service can help you come to terms with issues. This service is provided free of charge to parents & carers.

Befriending Scheme

It is often the case that parents with young children who have ASD feel isolated and alone and have no where to turn for support.  We would like to provide a befriending scheme where parents can talk to someone who has experienced the emotions & difficulties that they are currently working through, and can offer coping techniques and advice.

In the longer term , C-SAW would like to provide safe housing for those with ASD, employment opportunites and respite facilities.

Trampoline sessions

We run a series of trampoline sessions, free of charge, for children with an ASD. Check out the news section for further details.
